Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Tarotoria is owned and operated by Trần Ngọc Chính, a sole proprietor based in Vietnam. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we need it, and what you can delete. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@tarotoria.com and we will answer.

2. Using Tarotoria Without an Account

You can get readings without signing in. In that case we do not know who you are, and your readings are not saved — they exist only in your browser while you read them.

To keep the free tier fair we still need to count usage, so we store:

• A device identifier in a cookie, so we can count your free readings for the day.
• A one-way scrambled version of your IP address. We never store your real IP address. The scrambled value only lets us count readings from the same connection; it cannot be turned back into your IP.
• Daily counters — how many readings that device and that connection have used today.

3. When You Sign In With Google

If you choose to sign in, Google tells us your email address and basic profile details. We never see or receive your Google password.

We keep this because without it we simply cannot tell one person from another. It is what lets us recognise you on your next visit, keep you signed in, apply the Premium access you paid for on every device you use, and answer you when you write to support about your own account. If we deleted it, we could not restore your subscription or help you when something goes wrong.

4. Your Readings Are Yours — Saving Is Your Choice

When you are signed in, we save your readings so you can come back to them. A saved reading includes the question you asked, any name or birth details you entered for that reading, the cards drawn, and the interpretation.

You are in control of all of it:

• Turn saving off entirely. There is a switch on your History page. While it is off, new readings are not stored at all.
• Delete any single reading, at any time.
• Delete every saved reading at once, at any time.

On the free tier we keep only your 50 most recent readings and older ones fall away automatically. With Premium we keep them until you delete them.

5. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. You enter your payment details on Paddle's checkout, not on Tarotoria — we never see or store your card number.

What we do store is what we need to give you what you paid for and to answer billing questions: your subscription status, its plan and renewal date, and the reference numbers Paddle uses to identify your subscription. Paddle handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

6. Daily Reminders (Only If You Ask)

If you turn on daily reminder notifications, we store the address your browser gives us for sending them, the hour you chose, and your reading streak. You can turn reminders off at any time from the same place you turned them on, and we will stop sending and remove that registration.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to count free readings, as described above. We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages people use, and Google AdSense to show advertising.

Google AdSense & DoubleClick Cookie: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

8. Deleting Your Data

You can delete your saved readings yourself at any time, as described in section 4.

If you want your whole account removed, email us at support@tarotoria.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete it. That removes your account, your sign-in sessions, your saved readings and your subscription record.

Two things survive, and we would rather tell you than pretend otherwise: anonymous daily counters that are not linked to your name or email, and the payment records Paddle and we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

9. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Access is limited to what is needed to run the service and answer your support requests. Your IP address is scrambled before it is stored, and your payment card details never reach our systems at all.

10. Third-Party Links

This website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised. For any question about your data — including a request to see it or delete it — write to support@tarotoria.com.
